Häcken is moving its next home match against Malmö FF to Ullevi. The reason is that Gamla Ullevi is occupied by the World Cup qualifying match between Sweden and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Why is the match being moved?

Häcken has struggled to attract audiences to Gamla Ullevi all year. The second most recent home match, against Helsingborg, attracted 1,723 people, and in the most recent home match, the club recorded its lowest attendance of the year, 1,276 spectators.

What does Häcken's sports director say?

– It doesn't matter. Gamla Ullevi is too big for us, it's monstrous for us, we're fully aware of that. So it's okay if we move to the new Ullevi once, says Häcken's sports director Sonny Karlsson.

When is the match being played?

The match was scheduled for Sunday, September 14, but has been moved to the day before, as MFF plays its first group stage match in the Champions League on Tuesday away to Juventus.
