Häcken won against Uppsala 3-2 after a dramatic match day. The match was originally supposed to be played at Lötens IP, but the pitch was deemed unplayable by the referees with less than an hour to kickoff.

What happened?

Häcken's club director Marcus Jodin expressed anger over the pitch not being playable. – It's a very strange and somewhat regrettable situation, he says. Uppsala's club director Linn Andersson did not want to comment on Jodin's outburst.

Why was the pitch subpar?

SVT reports that there were both concrete stains and loose turf parts on the rejected pitch. Häcken had already pointed out the flaws to the association a week ago.

How did the match go?

The match was moved to Bälinge IP and Häcken eventually won 3-2. Felicia Schröder was benched due to the risk of injury on Lötens IP. – She obviously doesn't start a match like that, says Marcus Jodin.
