Häcken won against Halmstad with 1-0 at Nordic Wellness arena in Gothenburg. Julius Lindberg decided the match with a goal in the first half. Häcken were a bit more active than Halmstad during the first half and created some good chances. Lindberg stood for a weak pass, but David Seger picked up the ball and passed to Abdoulaye Doumbia, who released it to Lindberg. Lindberg curled in 1-0 (36) from distance.

Lindberg, who has been in goal-scoring form during the summer, has now contributed to Häcken's third-place position in Allsvenskan. Häcken now have three points on AIK and are six points ahead of Halmstad, who have nine points to Degerfors on the relegation playoff spot.
